Dissertation write support

Welcome to the development programs of the Erc deudit! Every doctoral student will meet sometime during their program challenges, and these initiatives build a cross-disciplinary community in order to support them in maintaining consistent progress towards graduation.

Dissertation Write Group

The ERC dissertation write group offers doctoral students with a structured write time per week, so they can make significant progress towards completion. The beginning of every three-hour session is dedicated to the definition of goals for the day and share them with colleagues. At the end of each meeting, the Group discusses advances that discuss challenges and victories when writing challenges and victories when writing goals for the coming week. The members of the moderator and the group also share helpful write resources and participate in short, guided discussions about the writing process. The approximately 2.5 hours in the middle of each meeting are dedicated to the letter! Join us to build camaraderie about disciplines, fight the insulation that can accompany the dissertation process, and especially words on the page!

To be authorized for the dissertation write group, you must:

• have completed their qualified exams
• Be in the process of writing your dissertation prospectus or the dissertation
• recognize specific, achievable write targets for the summer 2021
• Catering for the regular participants in the group. Those with significant conflicts are outbound. If a time plankflight occurs, communicate this immediately to the DWG moderator

Accounting Partners

Accountability Partners comply with an interdisciplinary group of 3-4 other graduate authors for weekly goals and accountability. In each meeting, groups report writing progress, reflect the challenges and set goals for the coming week. Groups are also prompted to maintain a shared writing protocol, and each group will be provided with a slack channel where members can share updates and resources throughout the week. Accountability Partners are an excellent option from candidates, for candidates who have a time plan slice with the Monday Dissertation Writing group, or for DWG members who want an additional support for peer-to-peer support and accountability throughout the week .

To be suitable for accounting partners, you must:

• Be a PhD student or a candidate to write a scientific article, the prospectus of dissertation, dissertation in chapter or similar
• recognize specific, achievable write targets for the summer 2021
• are available to meet once a week (on 24 to 13 August, 2021) for one-hour check-in. Optionally, groups like additional meeting times for coworking

• Complete an online account tableability partner orientation and range a group contract to the ERC, 28 until Friday.May

writing workshop circuits

Have you searched for ways to get peer feedback on your letter? Are you curious how your research is received in other areas of scholars? Writing workshop circles enable the doctoral students from different disciplines to share jobs and gain feedback from scholars outside of their committee and the department. Each workshop circuit is typically from four members who are in similar steps of the dissertation letter.

Each group collectively decides on a meeting schedule and sets a group contract to the ERC. Workshop circles also receive guidelines for specifying Peer Feedback.

To be authorized for a writing workshop circuit, you must:

• a doctoral student to write either your dissertation prospectus or your dissertation
• are available to meet at least four times during the semester, to meet the workshop group members on the rotating basis. Groups are cordially invited to plan additional meetings for coworking or workshopping additional designs
• fill out an online workshop circle orientation and range from the 25th of January a group contract to the ERC
